Construction Project Manager (HVAC)

Location: Roanoke, Virginia, United States. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday work location is flexible based on business needs.

Annual base salary: $77,963.33–$126,200.00.

What you will do

• Manage multi-million-dollar construction, energy services, and HVAC controls project portfolios, including financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction.
• Support sales through quote preparation, project development, proposals, and total-solution scoping.
• Validate project scope, costs, schedules, contract documents, and customer expectations.
• Manage change orders, pricing, corrective actions, communications, and stakeholder relationships.
• Select and oversee subcontractors, including RFQs, subcontract awards, execution, billing, safety, and progress meetings.
• Build project schedules, manage forecasts and cash flow, monitor compliance, and address contract, safety, documentation, and governing-agency requirements.

Requirements

• Advanced understanding of construction energy project development and construction systems and technologies.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, organizational, influencing, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead project teams and collaborate with customers, stakeholders, subcontractors, and Controls Project Managers.
• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction project management, or a combination of education and 5–10 years of experience.
• Experience with project scheduling and construction project management software.
• Ability to obtain a contracting license is a plus.
