Technical Product Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid position based in the Austin, Texas office, United States. Office attendance expectations will be confirmed by the hiring manager. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $110,700–$171,800 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Manage intake and delivery planning for billing automation projects across product, finance, engineering, and technology stakeholders.
• Translate pricing and billing requirements into detailed user stories, prototypes, mockups, and release-ready features.
• Analyze manual billing processes, reverse-engineer existing billing systems, and maintain functional documentation.
• Coordinate integration of new and existing billing features, including dependencies across upstream and downstream systems.
• Provide database extracts and communicate data-driven insights to support business operations and product decisions.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies, product demos, prioritization, estimation, and solution design using AI tools and design thinking.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience building or working with high-volume, large-scale distributed systems is required.
• Experience with billing or accounts receivable systems such as ORMB or Oracle EBS is required.
• Strong understanding of complex data models and experience writing database queries for RDBMS, Hadoop, and NoSQL systems.
• Experience with Claude Code and prototyping tools such as Figma and Replit is required.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, collaboration, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Project management experience, including internships.
• Background in payments, financial institutions, or consumer lending.
