Sr. Data Scientist & Product Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Seattle, Washington, United States; requires 3+ days per week onsite, with onsite attendance Tuesday through Thursday.

Salary: $176,000–$220,000 starting base salary per year, plus equity and additional compensation components.

What you will do

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Business leaders to define success metrics and influence roadmap decisions.
• Generate insights into customer needs, growth opportunities, friction points, and emerging trends.
• Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and scalable experimentation frameworks.
• Lead investigations into business, customer, and product performance shifts, identifying root causes and validating hypotheses.
• Build analytical frameworks to detect anomalies, risks, and trends proactively.
• Evaluate and support adoption of AI-powered analytics and decision-support capabilities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Data Science, Decision Science, or a related analytical role.
• Strong SQL expertise and experience working with large-scale datasets.
• Experience designing, executing, and analyzing experiments and A/B tests.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and causal inference.
• Proven ability to influence product decisions through data-driven insights and conduct root-cause investigations.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Business teams, plus familiarity with analytics and BI visualization tools such as Tableau, Mode, or Power BI.
