Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annual

What you will do

• Assess and verify coverage for first- and third-party auto claims.
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve auto property damage claims and selected bodily injury, Med Pay, and No-Fault claims.
• Set appropriate loss reserves and recommend claim reserves and dispositions.
• Assign and manage independent adjusters and other vendors.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and manage the subrogation process.
• Prepare claim correspondence, including denials and reservation-of-rights letters, as well as substantive claim reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent life experience.
• At least three years of experience handling commercial automobile claims.
• Experience handling catastrophic claims.
• Valid home-state adjuster’s license required.
• Good telephone demeanor, proficient PC use, and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
