General Counsel (SaaS/Life Sciences)

Salary: $280,000–$400,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and lead legal strategy, risk management, and compliance across jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex B2B SaaS agreements, MSAs, DPAs, vendor contracts, and enterprise agreements.
• Advise product, engineering, and security teams on data protection, intellectual property, and sensitive data risks.
• Partner cross-functionally to align legal support with business needs and corporate objectives.
• Develop policies and procedures that improve regulatory and business compliance.
• Supervise and coordinate outside counsel as needed.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and membership in good standing of the candidate’s state bar association.
• 10–15+ years of relevant legal experience combining large law firm and in-house roles at life sciences or technology companies.
• Senior leadership experience.
• Required experience with complex, high-value enterprise contracts.
• Extensive knowledge of software and SaaS law, plus a deep understanding of pharmaceutical or life sciences legal and regulatory environments.
• Experience advising technology product teams building B2B products and services, with strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and client counseling skills.
