Corporate Counsel - Litigation

Location: Hybrid, in-person role based in Menlo Park, California, or Atlanta, Georgia; not remote

Salary: $150,000–$197,400 per year

What you will do

• Support and manage litigation and dispute matters from initial assessment through resolution.
• Advise on litigation-related provisions in commercial agreements, including dispute resolution, governing law, venue, arbitration, liability, and indemnification.
• Coordinate responses to subpoenas, garnishment orders, statutory information requests, and government or law enforcement inquiries.
• Advise business stakeholders on litigation risks and practical solutions for complex disputes.
• Support bankruptcy matters and internal investigations in partnership with relevant functions.
• Partner with outside counsel on discovery, motion practice, litigation strategy, and scalable litigation processes.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one state bar.
• Ability to practice in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
• At least 3 years of legal experience with substantive litigation experience in-house, at a law firm, or both.
• Familiarity with commercial disputes and contractual dispute-resolution provisions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain language.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a pragmatic, collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with bankruptcy matters.
• Experience managing or supporting subpoena and government inquiry responses.
