Commercial Counsel (AI)

Location: On-site in New York, Chicago, Austin, United States, or Toronto, Canada

Salary: $171,430–$259,594 annual base pay, with potential equity and bonus

hirify.global is an AI connectivity company building a unified API and AI platform for securing, managing, accelerating, governing, and monetizing API and AI traffic across models and clouds.

What you will do

• Lead complex SaaS and on-premises commercial negotiations.
• Advise the Americas sales team, primarily supporting the US East market.
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements with large customers.
• Support compliance for AI, intellectual property, privacy, security, and government-contracting requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Customer Assurance on the end-to-end contract close process.
• Advise internal teams on commercial legal matters and AI-related product issues.

Requirements

• Law degree and membership in good standing of the applicable state bar, or eligibility to register as in-house counsel.
• 7–10 years of legal experience across private practice and in-house roles.
• Experience negotiating and closing complex SaaS and software contracts with sophisticated customers.
• Experience with federal government procurement and customers.
• Working knowledge of intellectual property, data governance, information security, and privacy.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, relationship-building skills, and ability to connect legal issues with business objectives.
