FP&A Manager

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 per year plus a 20% bonus

What you will do

• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and scenario analysis for global operations.
• Deliver financial analysis and recommendations covering revenue growth, margin optimization, cost discipline, and capital efficiency.
• Develop KPI reporting, dashboards, and management information on financial performance and operational effectiveness.
• Prepare financial analysis and commentary for senior leadership, Board, and steering committee reporting.
• Partner with business and functional leaders to build driver-based plans, challenge assumptions, and improve forecasting.
• Support investment appraisals, strategic projects, financial modeling, governance, and improvements to the Adaptive planning system within Workday.

Requirements

• Strong FP&A experience, preferably in reinsurance broking, insurance, financial services, or another complex commercial environment.
• Strong financial modeling, scenario analysis, forecasting, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience influencing stakeholders, managing priorities, and communicating complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Familiarity with reinsurance broking market dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools.

• Professional accounting qualification, MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced certification.
