What you will do

• Coordinate procurement activities from purchase intent through delivery.
• Analyze commodity requirements, specifications, preferred suppliers, and delivery needs.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier proposals and assess supplier qualifications.
• Advise stakeholders on supplier selection and negotiate cost, quality, and schedule terms.
• Implement compliant purchase contracts and monitor on-time delivery, pricing, and quality.
• Maintain purchasing records, manage inventory liabilities, and coordinate cost-effective distribution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years of professional buying experience in a manufacturing setting, or equivalent training and experience.
• Ability to evaluate suppliers, negotiate purchases, manage purchase documentation, and maintain reliable attendance.
• Ability to perform regular standing, walking, reaching, handling, and communication duties, including lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
