What you will do
- Ensure supply continuity for manufacturing by managing supplier pull-ins and push-outs against MRP demand.
- Lead cross-functional teams in resolving supply issues with engineering, manufacturing, program management, and supplier account management.
- Execute purchasing activities at the lowest cost while balancing quality, source reliability, and urgency.
- Lead inventory and E&Z reduction initiatives.
- Manage assigned purchasing projects, including cost, schedule, and scope.
- Improve purchasing processes and train department staff on purchasing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, business drivers, and marketplace competition.
- Leadership skills to lead small projects and build consensus.
- Ability to manage complex and sensitive information with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
