Senior Developer - AI Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, hybrid with a minimum of two days per week in office. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and retirement contributions.

What you will do

• Evaluate, design, and architect AI tooling for production use cases in the Private Markets business.
• Build and maintain end-to-end AI solutions covering data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Integrate LLMs and foundation models into product features using prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG architectures.
• Design and build agentic workflows with Private Markets business users.
• Collaborate with data engineers on high-quality training datasets and feature stores.
• Write tested, documented code and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years building and deploying AI solutions in production.
• Experience in Private Markets or a related financial sector.
• Strong proficiency in Python, LangChain, LangGraph, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG.
• Experience designing production-grade agentic workflows and enterprise AI systems, plus hands-on AWS or Azure experience, including Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, and MCP.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, testing, Docker, and scalable software engineering practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with LoRA or RLHF fine-tuning techniques.
• Familiarity with Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, and embedding-based search.
• Experience building real-time inference systems or streaming AI pipelines.
