Supplier Quality Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Puebla, Puebla, Mexico

What you will do

• Manage supplier documentation, track projects, consolidate information, and monitor supplier actions and deadlines.
• Prepare executive reports, progress reports, meeting minutes, presentations, dashboards, indicators, and control tools.
• Consolidate, validate, and update information from suppliers and internal departments to support decision-making.
• Record agreements, commitments, risks, deviations, and non-compliance identified during project follow-up.
• Visit suppliers to verify the implementation of actions and collect objective evidence of progress and compliance.
• Provide administrative and analytical support to the Quality and Purchasing departments.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
• At least 6 months of experience in supplier quality.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and process/product audits.
• Basic knowledge of Core Tools, especially APQP and PPAP.
• Fluent English required.
