HR Systems Workday Analyst - Core HCM (Workday)

Location: Spring, Texas, United States of America; other location: Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico. The role description also states that the candidate lives in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Salary: $73,800–$112,000 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for United States of America candidates.

What you will do

• Manage and maintain Workday and other HR systems configuration for Core HCM and related business processes.
• Work with business users to define problems and select appropriate technical or configuration solutions.
• Gather, develop, document, test, and manage business and technical requirements through the project life cycle and change control.
• Analyze dependencies between systems affecting HR data and create implementation plans with other system analysts.
• Support system issues, partnering with IT to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Maintain user guides, training materials, release notes, and other system documentation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Workday Core HCM configuration and HR functional areas.
• Minimum 2–6 years of experience in an HR or technical-related area.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a closely related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of system architectures and software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, pragmatic, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience working in project-oriented, high-performing teams; ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting complex business and technical topics to business, technical, and executive audiences.
• High integrity and professionalism.
