Product Manager (GovTech)

Location: On-site in New York City

Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 + Equity

hirify.global is building the operating system for business-to-government partnerships, streamlining how companies find, win, and manage public sector contracts.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap, requirements, and user experience for the RFP proposal writer product.
• Launch and manage the RFP services offering, starting by performing the work personally.
• Recruit, train, and manage a remote freelance writing team to scale service volume.
• Define pricing, packaging, and margin strategies for the services revenue line.
• Drive outbound sales efforts in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Translate service-based insights into product specs and templates to accelerate response times.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in product management, top-tier consulting, or finance.
• Exceptional writing skills and a strong academic record.
• High agency and comfort with ambiguity, including building plans from scratch.
• Commercial instinct with a focus on revenue, margins, and win rates.
• Interest in the public procurement space.
• Must be able to work on-site in New York City.

Nice to have

• Experience with RFP, proposal, or grant writing.
• Public sector exposure.
• Experience managing contractors or freelance teams.
• Habit of automating work using AI.
