Support Engineer Test Equipment (Automation)

Salary: Minimum EUR 54,439.42 gross per year

What you will do

• Ensure the reliable operation of test systems and equipment through troubleshooting, fault resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and optimization to improve equipment availability and reliability.
• Provide technical support to production and engineering teams on test systems and testing processes.
• Support the introduction, development, standardization, and continuous improvement of test equipment.

Requirements

• Completed technical education in electrical engineering, electronics, automation engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in technical support, maintenance, or electronic test and inspection systems.
• Knowledge of fault analysis and investigating and resolving technical issues.
• Basic knowledge of automation, measurement, or control technologies.
• Structured, organized, solution-oriented working style with strong communication and service orientation.
• Good written and spoken German and English; proficiency in MS Office and interest in technical software systems.
