Customer Engineer Implant

Location: Graz or Villach, Austria. Onsite customer equipment work is required, with travel approximately 50% of the time. Relocation is eligible, and comprehensive training is delivered at facilities in Asia or the United States with travel and accommodation supported.

Salary: €51,200–€70,400 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package and potential bonus and stock award compensation.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment in collaboration with Senior Field Service Engineers.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation and service delivery.
• Work with internal teams to improve business processes and complete additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges.
• Willingness to learn and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of clean-room field service work, including extended standing and walking, climbing, working at height, lifting up to 35 lbs., and using personal protective equipment and hand or power tools.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of customer service, field service, or related technical experience.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters.
