Sr. Product Manager- Platforms

Location: Boulder, Colorado; Morrisville, North Carolina; San Jose, California; Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania; or Wichita, Kansas, United States. Hybrid working environment with in-office and/or in-person expectations.

Target OTE salary: 196,350–292,600 USD per year, including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, positioning, and lifecycle outcomes for ONTAP systems platforms.
• Develop multi-generation roadmaps covering performance and capacity tiers, form factors, and technology transitions.
• Lead concurrent new product introduction programs from requirements through launch and sustaining.
• Translate customer, market, and competitive requirements into product requirements, business cases, and roadmap actions.
• Develop platform packaging, configuration guidance, and field enablement with Product Marketing and Sales.
• Coordinate Engineering, Operations, supply chain, finance, marketing, and sales around schedules, quality, capacity, and launch readiness.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management or technical product planning experience in enterprise infrastructure, storage, or related hardware/software domains.
• Strong understanding of enterprise storage systems and architectures, including NAS and SAN protocols and modern data center infrastructure.
• Experience leading complex NPI programs through requirements, development, general availability, and sustaining.
• Experience driving execution across Engineering, Operations, supply chain, finance, and go-to-market teams.
• Strong communication and executive presence for representing complex platform tradeoffs to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with hirify.global ONTAP or comparable unified storage data services.
• Experience with storage economics, capacity and performance tiering, and platform generation transitions.
• Competitive experience with major enterprise storage vendors and storage positioning for AI, virtualization, and mission-critical databases.
