Principal Product Manager- Hybrid Cloud Platforms

Location: Hybrid role requiring onsite work at least 3 days per week in applicable workplaces in San Jose or Durham, United States; Mexico City, Mexico; Bangalore or Pune, India; Hoofddorp, Netherlands; Belgrade, Serbia; Barcelona, Spain; Singapore; Sydney, Australia; or Tokyo, Japan.

Salary: USD $195,000–$391,000 per year at commencement of employment. Total compensation may also include a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive the multi-product server platform strategy and roadmap across edge, data center, and service-provider deployment scenarios.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from market analysis and component requirements through hardware qualification, launch, and sales ramp.
• Evaluate and integrate current hardware technologies to optimize platform performance and expand the hardware ecosystem.
• Conduct data analysis and market validation to shape product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
• Partner with Engineering, Alliances, Marketing, and Sales Operations to streamline qualification processes and automate quoting and platform-selection tools.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders and support revenue growth on target server platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology; an MBA is a plus.
• 5+ years of product management experience with a record of conceiving, building, and launching products.
• Deep knowledge of virtualization, x86 server hardware, or storage platforms.
• Experience enabling field teams and supporting pre-sales engagements; technical business development experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, written communication, oral communication, and executive-level discussion skills.
