Middle Software Developer (Java) (Spring Boot/Spring Cloud): Designing, developing, and maintaining reliable Java software for a Japan-based automotive company with an accent on software quality, testing, and performance. Focus on analyzing requirements, defining acceptance criteria, estimating tasks, and coordinating delivery in a cross-cultural environment.
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina; hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable, high-quality, and performant Java software.
- Analyze requirements, estimate tasks independently, and define acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate task deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager.
- Apply software development best practices and coding standards.
- Keep up to date with modern technologies and participate in learning and certification programs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial Java development experience.
- Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Experience creating and executing unit, integration, and system tests for Java applications.
- Experience with GitLab for source control and development workflows.
- Strong focus on software quality, testing cooperation, and excellent communication.
- Fluent written and spoken English; ability to work onsite in Buenos Aires three days per week.
