TL;DR

Senior Java Software Engineer (Java/Spring): Designing and maintaining scalable billing architecture and common interfaces for a global web technology provider with an accent on system performance and scalable architecture. Location: Remote (Must be based in Argentina)

What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain long-term scalable architecture for the Billing team.
  • Build and maintain common and batch interfaces.
  • Collaborate with the Database team to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Develop new product features within a cross-functional Scrum team.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code with unit tests and automation coverage using Java and Sonar.
  • Participate in technical design discussions and active code reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
  • English: Advanced level required.
  • 5-8 years of production engineering experience.
  • Expert experience with Java and Spring.
  • Strong proficiency with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL), including stored procedures and complex queries.
  • Experience with RESTful services and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
  • Location: Must be based in Argentina.

  • Experience with payment or billing systems.
