Account Manager - Controls & Digital Services (HVAC Controls)

Location: Fort Myers, Florida, United States. Customer engagement is prioritized, with office collaboration when not interacting directly with customers.

Annual base salary: $129,580–$168,300. Sales commission eligible.

What you will do

• Develop HVAC controls and building automation solutions addressing customer performance and financial requirements.
• Conduct project take-offs, select solutions, prepare proposal pricing, and define selling strategies for controls and digital services.
• Apply Trane’s digital services technology and local services to solve customer problems.
• Develop customer relationships and account-specific business plans with building owners, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Convert leads into opportunities, coordinate acquisition teams, and manage sales processes and assignments.
• Provide technical consultation, troubleshoot product and service challenges, and support renewals and account expansion.

Requirements

• 4+ years of demonstrated experience or a Bachelor of Science degree.
• 2+ years of solution sales experience.
• Relevant experience in HVAC control systems and technical sales is valued; candidates without a four-year degree are encouraged to apply.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with no major or frequent traffic violations in the previous three years.
• This is a safety-sensitive role and may require additional drug screening.
