Associate Actuary-Value-Based Care (Healthcare)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Support the design, implementation, and management of complex value-based care initiatives.
• Contribute to contracting, implementation, financial forecasting, data analysis, and actuarial modeling.
• Establish metrics and provide timely analyses for strategic and operational decisions.
• Develop data-flow processes and controls to ensure data integrity.
• Investigate data anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and develop cost-effective resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate technical findings to business audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation.
• Ability to articulate ideas effectively in written and oral communication.
• Ability to work remotely from a dedicated space with internet speeds of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Ability to protect member PHI and HIPAA information while working from home.

Nice to have

• MAAA designation and/or ability to issue Statements of Actuarial Opinion.
• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, or Python.
• Knowledge of value-based contracts, Medicare members, claims, and revenue.
• Comfort communicating technical concepts to non-actuarial audiences.
