Senior Business Analyst (Banking)

Location: Hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Analyze end-to-end business processes and design functional solutions.
• Translate complex business needs into structured functional specifications and user stories.
• Manage and prioritize change request backlogs in line with business expectations.
• Conduct impact analysis across legacy systems and dependencies.
• Act as the main point of contact between development teams and product stakeholders.
• Facilitate business user interviews and workshops, and train users and junior analysts on delivered solutions.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of professional experience in business analysis.
• Experience with application lifecycle management, production support, and the development process from requirements through deployment.
• Comfortable working with SQL or similar tools for reporting and data extraction.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business, IT, and third-party vendors.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Financial systems experience in payments, asset management, or banking core systems is advantageous.

• Proficiency in French.
