Facilities Maintenance Technician (HVAC)

Location: Dublin, Ohio, United States; hybrid with three days per week on-site for many roles and occasional additional on-site days based on business needs.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair mechanical equipment and building infrastructure across a five-building, 675,000-square-foot campus.
• Service HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, motors, plumbing, water softeners, well pump controls, and pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical controls, wiring systems, distribution panels, branch circuits, sprinkler controls, UPS equipment, and emergency generators.
• Maintain physical structures, roofing, flooring, ceilings, glass, doors, security gates, fire equipment, cameras, and building automation systems.
• Maintain campus grounds, including lawns, parking lots, landscaping, irrigation, snow equipment, and related outdoor infrastructure.
• Coordinate routine and emergency service with internal departments, project staff, vendors, and the Building and Grounds Manager; provide on-the-job training to other maintenance technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma and a technical degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, microcomputers, emergency backup power systems, UPS equipment, and industrial plumbing.
• Material Handling Equipment certification.
• Class I and Class II EPA Refrigerant certifications and a Universal EPA Refrigerant Certificate.
• National Electrical Code qualification and the ability to install plumbing and electrical systems in accordance with applicable codes.
• Within three years in the position, achieve a “MASTER” rating in HVAC, industrial plumbing, industrial and commercial electrical systems, or UPS/emergency power generation equipment as defined by the applicable authority.
