Assistant Vice President, Talent and Leadership Development

What you will do

• Lead enterprise talent reviews, assessment, calibration, and succession planning for executive, senior leadership, and critical business roles.
• Evaluate bench strength, leadership readiness, capability gaps, talent risks, and succession metrics to support workforce planning.
• Advise and coach senior leaders, executives, officers, high-potential employees, and HR Business Partners on leadership effectiveness and development.
• Design and implement scalable leadership development programs, including leadership academies, mentoring, stretch assignments, executive education, and experiential learning.
• Use talent analytics and organizational insights to produce actionable recommendations and executive reporting.
• Manage external coaches, assessment providers, and leadership development partners while evaluating emerging and AI-enabled talent practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in talent management, leadership development, executive development, organizational effectiveness, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experienced user of leadership assessment methodologies, including Hogan assessments or similar personality and leadership potential assessments.
• Proven experience coaching executives and senior leaders.
• Strong consulting, facilitation, analytical, and relationship management skills, including the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
• Experience designing innovative leadership development strategies and programs with measurable business impact.
