Head of Learning and Development (AI)

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid with four days in the office each week in most locations

Total cash compensation: $161,050–$246,933 annually, inclusive of annual base salary and target incentive.

What you will do

• Define and lead a global learning strategy aligned with business priorities, talent strategy, and future capability needs.
• Lead and expand the AI Academy and broader enterprise learning portfolio from foundational learning through practical and transformational application.
• Apply AI to learning diagnosis, content development, personalization, coaching, assessment, reinforcement, and operations.
• Consult and coach business leaders, HR partners, and learning practitioners to diagnose capability needs and select the right interventions.
• Build communities of practice and connect learning resources across businesses while preserving local context.
• Lead a globally distributed team and strengthen learning technology, governance, measurement, vendor management, and operational delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, enterprise capability building, talent management, organizational effectiveness, human capital consulting, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success setting and delivering enterprise learning strategies in complex, global organizations.
• Experience building, scaling, or evolving academies, capability programs, or enterprise learning portfolios.
• Practical knowledge of AI's implications for learning, capability building, and changing work.
• Experience partnering with senior executives, HR leaders, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders across regions.
• Experience leading globally distributed or matrixed teams, with strong portfolio governance, data, vendor, budget, risk, communication, and facilitation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, investment research, asset management, data, technology, consulting, or another knowledge-intensive industry.
• Experience designing capability strategies for AI adoption or workforce transformation.
• Familiarity with learning platforms, skills technology, AI-enabled tools, instructional-design agents, analytics, and learning experience ecosystems.
• Experience with business academies, technical learning, professional certifications, educational-support programs, or global learning communities.
