Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; onsite at the Cincinnati facility

What you will do

• Develop, implement, administer, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures for manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Partner with leadership and Talent Acquisition on workforce planning, headcount growth, recruitment, interviews, and candidate selection.
• Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, development plans, talent reviews, and calibration activities.
• Manage employee relations cases, conduct investigations, document findings, and recommend compliant resolutions.
• Coach managers and employees, mediate workplace conflicts, and provide guidance on HR policies, employment regulations, and risk management.
• Oversee local onboarding and assimilation while developing engagement programs and HR metrics to support workforce decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent experience based on education.
• Experience as an HR business partner or primary HR resource, including employee lifecycle management, HRIS administration, compliance, and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, employment practices, and HR operations.
• Strong analytical, communication, relationship-building, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PHR, or another professional HR certification.
• Experience with organizational development, workforce planning, change management, employee engagement, or organizational health initiatives.
• Experience with Rippling, Workday, iCIMS, Greenhouse, or similar HRIS platforms.
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, manufacturing, additive manufacturing, government contracts, or FAR/DFARS compliance environments.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions, rapid growth, startup, or technology-driven organizations.
