Personal Banker

Location: Onsite at the State St. Branch in Sycamore, Illinois, United States

Starting pay: $22 per hour; final compensation may vary based on lending experience, education, and skill level.

What you will do

• Welcome customers and provide a supportive branch experience.
• Complete customer transactions, including deposits and withdrawals.
• Understand customers’ financial needs and make personalized recommendations.
• Guide customers toward improved financial well-being, including saving for retirement.
• Build customer relationships through proactive outreach.
• Follow bank policies, regulations, and applicable laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Retail banking experience preferred.
• Outgoing, friendly, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach.
• Must meet S.A.F.E. Act registration requirements with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System, including applicable financial responsibility, character, credit fitness, and criminal background standards.
• Must work onsite at the posted Sycamore, Illinois location; the work location may change based on business needs.
