Premium Auditor (Insurance)

Location: Home United States; fully remote

What you will do

• Conduct insurance premium audits by phone, virtual platforms, and other remote methods.
• Review payroll records, financial statements, and business documentation to determine accurate premium exposure.
• Verify classification codes and exposure data and identify discrepancies between reported and actual operations.
• Contact policyholders to collect documentation and communicate audit findings.
• Prepare audit reports and maintain accurate records in audit systems.
• Collaborate with Premium Audit Coordinators and meet production, quality, regulatory, and client-specific standards.

Requirements

• Experience in premium audit, insurance operations, or accounting is preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll and financial documentation.
• Strong analytical, documentation review, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple audit assignments and work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related audit systems.
