Insurance Operations Audit Associate

Location: Roseland, NJ, USA; travel to decentralized locations required, up to 15%

What you will do

• Review insurance operations best practices for retail and wholesale Profit Centers to verify compliance.
• Prepare for reviews by examining prior reports, procedure manuals, carrier ratings and exceptions, licensing, websites, and contracts.
• Complete file reviews, document positive and negative findings, and connect findings to potential company risks.
• Communicate findings with teammates and Profit Center colleagues, escalating concerns to leadership when needed.
• Support draft and final audit reports and monitor or retest Profit Center action plans.
• Complete internal training, professional development activities, expense reporting, and educational designations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn new management systems and research and analyze insurance products and coverages.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication with the Internal Operations Audit Team and Profit Center teammates.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
