Associate, Revenue Accounting (AI)

Salary: $66,240–$77,760 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Support monthly revenue close activities by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with revenue recognition under ASC 606 and maintain compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Analyze revenue transactions, account variances, billing data, payment processing data, and multiple revenue streams.
• Maintain accounting documentation and schedules for accurate reporting and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to resolve discrepancies and support reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue accounting workflows, data accuracy, and operational efficiency, including through AI tools.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in revenue accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
• Experience preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and supporting monthly financial close processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward obtaining a CPA.
• Experience with NetSuite, Stripe, accounting systems, or financial reporting tools.
• Familiarity with SaaS business models, subscription billing, or payment processing.
• Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and outputs.
