Staff Accountant

Location: US Remote

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year, plus equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units.

What you will do

• Manage daily revenue operations and support month-end close activities.
• Apply ASC 606 and US GAAP revenue recognition principles to customer contracts, software subscriptions, and implementation fees.
• Validate customer billing, unbilled revenue, and deferred revenue balances.
• Review sales contracts, process credit memos, and resolve billing discrepancies with customers.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and audit support documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems such as Intacct, NetSuite, or Salesforce is beneficial.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
