Engineering Manager

Salary: $130,000–$210,000 total cash compensation per year

What you will do

• Own delivery and daily execution for an engineering team by translating product and business goals into scoped, sequenced work.
• Hire, develop, and manage a team of 5–8 engineers ranging from junior to senior levels.
• Run performance reviews, provide regular feedback, and support career development.
• Improve team velocity, estimation, quality, and engineering standards.
• Partner with product, design, business stakeholders, other Engineering Managers, and the Principal Engineer on scope, risks, trade-offs, and technical direction.
• Integrate AI-assisted development into the team's daily workflow and foster psychological safety.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineers through delivery, ideally for consumer-facing products at scale.
• A track record of developing engineers and supporting promotions or significant growth.
• Hands-on technical credibility and the ability to participate meaningfully in design reviews and technical discussions.
• Ability to own delivery and team morale when priorities or requirements change.
• Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and coach engineers through them.
• Strong preference for direct, specific feedback and consistent follow-through.
