Quantum Engineer II, Device Test & Measurement

Base pay range: $86,800–$130,300 USD annually

What you will do

• Design and perform microwave, electrical, DC/RF, and cryogenic measurements.
• Develop and execute experiments for advanced quantum device characterization and validation.
• Maintain and optimize cryogenic and measurement systems, workflows, and associated tools.
• Analyze device performance data and identify contributing factors.
• Develop and maintain experiment automation and data-analysis pipelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and document methods, results, and datasets.

Requirements

• M.Sc. and at least two years of relevant experience, or a PhD, in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with superconducting quantum devices, device physics, and measurement techniques.
• Experience with DC/RF measurements and cryogenic systems.
• Proficiency in scientific programming for instrument control, data acquisition, analysis, and automation.
• Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot technical issues, and identify practical solutions.
• Strong scientific communication and teamwork skills in interdisciplinary physics and engineering environments.
