Maintenance Electrician (Industrial Automation)

Location: Trenton, New Jersey, United States; on-site five days per week. Second shift: 2:00pm–10:00pm.

Salary: $34.90 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain and repair machinery, facility equipment, electrical systems, and production processes.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, plans, and equipment manuals.
• Troubleshoot motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, generators, high-voltage switchgear, protective relaying, and related equipment.
• Maintain factory automation systems and interfaces, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, drives, and computers.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical controls using appropriate testing equipment and tools.
• Support preventive maintenance, equipment diagnosis, safe work practices, and a clean working environment.

Requirements

• Experience with complex industrial electrical, electronic, computer, and PLC maintenance.
• Competency with Allen-Bradley PLC 5000, PanelView, and SLC 500 equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, including 240- and 480-volt three-phase systems.
• Ability to use multimeters, ammeters, megohm meters, high-potential testers, oscilloscopes, and digital probes.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and pass additional drug screening for this safety-sensitive role.
