Director, Sales - Consumer Financial Services (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must be based in the US at the time of application.

Salary: $141,500–$165,000 USD per year, plus potential sales-based or performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Sell data-driven research, products, and services to consumer banks, card issuers, payment processors, insurers, financial technology companies, and retail brokerages.
• Gather market intelligence and contribute to new product development.
• Generate prospecting activity through targeted calls, emails, individual meetings, and group presentations.
• Manage new-business pipelines from initial conversations through closing.
• Grow client accounts from both an end-user and revenue perspective.
• Provide internal sales reports and participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience selling data-driven research, products, or services to the consumer and retail banking community.
• Strong relationships with top retail banks and brokerages, plus extensive knowledge of the consumer analytics competitive landscape.
• Strong business development and account-growth experience, including selling to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Marketing.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate product offerings into client solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; ability to work independently, meet aggressive sales objectives, and follow through consistently.
