Data Analyst

Location: Fully remote within Spain; candidates must be located in Spain. The contract is associated with Málaga.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and reporting requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable reporting, analytics, and self-service data solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
• Prepare, transform, and model data using Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decisions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, testing, validation, documentation, and continuous improvement of the data platform.

Requirements

• Senior experience delivering data analysis, reporting, and analytics solutions.
• Strong experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, modern cloud data platforms, and SQL.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, data quality, validation, and governance practices.
• Experience gathering business requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, plus strong communication and presentation skills.
• Must be located in Spain to work fully remotely.

Nice to have

• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, FinTech, or related industries.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Platform, or Databricks.
• Experience with AI-enabled analytics, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions.
• Microsoft certifications in Data Analytics, Fabric, Azure, or Data Engineering.
• Experience supporting self-service analytics adoption initiatives.
