Data Analyst

Location: Fully remote; candidates must be available to work within the Spain time zone (CET/CEST)

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and reporting requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
• Prepare, transform, and model data using Microsoft Fabric and related cloud technologies.
• Partner with business stakeholders to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure data quality, governance, validation, documentation, and continuous improvement of the data platform.

Requirements

• Professional experience delivering data reporting and analytics solutions.
• Strong experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Strong SQL skills, including data analysis and query optimization.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience gathering business requirements, working with stakeholders, and applying data quality and governance practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, plus strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, FinTech, or related industries.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Platform, or Databricks.
• Experience with AI-enabled analytics, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions.
• Microsoft certifications in Data Analytics, Fabric, Azure, or Data Engineering.
• Experience supporting self-service analytics adoption initiatives.
