Data & Visualization Engineer (Snowflake)

What you will do

• Design and build data models connecting Snowflake with downstream analytics layers.
• Develop and optimize transformation logic, including views, schemas, and staging areas.
• Define business logic and calculations to maintain a consistent source of truth.
• Design dashboards and analytics solutions in Power BI, Looker, or similar BI tools.
• Troubleshoot report performance and data quality issues while presenting findings to stakeholders and leadership.
• Lead proof-of-concept projects and contribute to data governance, security compliance, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Experience with Snowflake and advanced SQL, including query optimization, schema design, and semantic views.
• Understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and analytics-oriented data structures.
• Experience with Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or another modern BI tool.
• Knowledge of dashboard design, data storytelling, and user-focused visualization.
• Practical experience using Copilot or other GenAI tools in AI-assisted development environments.
• English communication skills are assessed during the hiring process.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt transformation and modeling workflows.
• Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, DAX, Power Query, or PBIP.
