Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Remote-first, with occasional travel for meetings, training, or industry events.

What you will do

• Translate finance leadership questions into clear analytical approaches and iterate on working examples based on feedback.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and models for recurring analysis and reporting.
• Validate and reconcile data from multiple source systems and resolve quality issues, gaps, and discrepancies.
• Create visualizations and dashboards that support decision-making and present findings to the CFO and other stakeholders.
• Document methodologies and assumptions so analytical work is repeatable and auditable.
• Prototype scalable tools and processes and recommend improvements to data infrastructure and workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, data analysis, or a related quantitative role.
• Strong proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and the ability to leverage AI tools.
• Experience building data pipelines and models and reconciling data across multiple source systems.
• Proficiency with visualization and dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong documentation, problem-solving, communication, and remote collaboration skills.
