Financial Analyst (Finance)

Location: Lorton, Virginia, USA. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $82,900–$110,400 per annum.

What you will do

• Review requisitions and purchase orders, coordinate account and project coding updates, and monitor spending timing.
• Coordinate purchase order scheduling, deliveries, receipts, and service timing with stakeholders.
• Investigate accounts payable invoice exceptions, resolve transaction delays, and support month-end close.
• Develop analytical views, expense analytics, KPI reporting, and profitability analysis to improve cost management, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support inventory stock management, cycle counts, facility maintenance plans, and project financial modeling.
• Prepare audit documentation and ensure data integrity across financial system tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MACC preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong computer and financial modeling skills with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or a similar ERP; proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, independent judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle, Smart View, or Analysis for Office.
• MBA or MACC qualification.
