Senior Systems Business Analyst (FX Team)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts; the FX team is based in Krakow.

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annual base salary plus target bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze FX business processes, system architecture, data flows, integrations, and application functionality.
• Lead requirements discovery, define solution scope, identify risks and dependencies, and recommend practical options.
• Facilitate workshops with traders, operations, product owners, architects, developers, QA specialists, and other stakeholders.
• Create business and functional requirements, use cases, process and data-flow models, screen designs, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams on solution design, testing, user acceptance, release readiness, training, and post-release validation.
• Manage requirement changes, roadmap and backlog refinement, stakeholder communication, root-cause analysis, and delivery risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; Accounting, Banking, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems is preferred.
• At least 5 years of systems or business analysis experience across the systems development lifecycle.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Visio or equivalent process-modelling tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery, including backlog refinement, acceptance criteria, testing, and release readiness.
• Technical fluency with SQL, databases, APIs, system integrations, data flows, and infrastructure concepts, plus experience with business-critical applications, controls, regulatory change, or production support.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of foreign exchange, capital markets, trading workflows, or financial services technology.
