Controlling Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Munich, Germany; hybrid setup with 3 office days per week

What you will do

• Contribute to group-wide financial closing and review processes, providing transparency into costs across hirify.global entities.
• Own annual SG&A budgeting and monthly variance analysis, including detailed reviews across business functions.
• Identify financial risks and deviations from plan, and propose actionable improvement strategies.
• Partner with Finance, Business teams, stakeholders across countries, and senior business leaders.
• Deliver company-wide financial analyses and insights to support top-management decisions.
• Optimise reporting processes through automation and AI adoption across the P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling, BI, analytics, or another financial environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to understand the broader business context.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency and experience with Power BI.
• Ability to identify process inefficiencies and solve them through automation and AI tools.
• Strong ownership, organisation, agility, and ability to manage complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English required, with clear and persuasive communication across seniority levels.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central.
