Chief Compliance Officer (Europe and the UK) (Fintech)

Location: European and UK operations, with regulatory relationships across Lithuania, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom

What you will do

• Advise the VP of Payments, Executive Leadership Team and Boards on regulatory matters and strategic decisions.
• Own the Regulatory Compliance, AML/CFT and Financial Crime framework across hirify.global Pay’s European and UK operations.
• Lead and develop an international team of Heads of Compliance, MLROs and compliance specialists.
• Build trusted relationships with regulators in Lithuania, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom.
• Drive cross-functional compliance programmes with Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Legal, Finance and senior business leadership.
• Anticipate developments in European payments regulation and translate them into business strategies.

Requirements

• Extensive financial services compliance experience, including Chief Compliance Officer or equivalent executive leadership experience in a regulated financial institution.
• Deep understanding of EU and UK financial regulation.
• Extensive experience working directly with financial regulators and Boards.
• Experience building and leading international compliance organisations, including senior leaders and MLROs.
