Salary: $79,363–$130,949 base pay per year

What you will do

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Support the evolution of services within a microservice-based platform deployed on AWS.
• Design and optimize relational database queries and schemas.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and QA to deliver high-quality features.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, Agile ceremonies, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide required on-call support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of professional Java application development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework version 3 or 4.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational databases, SQL, schema design, and query writing.
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles, Git, and Agile/Scrum development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• PostgreSQL, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
• AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, or RDS.
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and newer Spring Boot or Spring 5+ concepts.
