Sr Engineer, Software Engineer - Java (AWS)

Location: Hybrid in Columbus, Ohio; office attendance required two days per week on Mondays and Tuesdays

Salary: $76,000–$143,000 annual national range; expected starting range of $76,000–$115,000

What you will do

• Develop, configure, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain software applications.
• Support eB2B systems and manage infrastructure tasks, incident resolution, and file transfer operations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Maintain DTCC and non-DTCC data feed transmissions, supporting data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while collaborating with business partners and team members.
• Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Advanced experience with Java, SQL, AWS infrastructure, software development, and infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline management.
• Knowledge of FTP, SFTP, and data feed systems.
• At least two years of analysis and technology experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• This role does not provide employer-sponsored work authorization and does not participate in the STEM OPT Extension program.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python.
• Insurance or financial services industry knowledge.
• An undergraduate degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field; relevant technology experience or certificates may substitute.
