Sr. Systems Engineer- Netherlands

Location: Remote in the Netherlands; domestic and international travel required

Salary: €120,000–€135,000 annual OTE, with a 70/30 split

What you will do

• Provide technology and product consulting and technical sales support for account opportunities.
• Deliver technical presentations and support customer, prospect, and channel-partner engagements.
• Prepare RFI/RFP responses and organize and lead Proof of Concept activities.
• Design networking solutions that meet customer requirements and support customer evaluations and detailed designs.
• Participate as a networking specialist on virtual teams and contribute to customer project teams and PoC labs.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships with customers and partners and assume a team-lead role when required.

Requirements

• Must know the Netherlands market.
• Fluent English and excellent presentation skills.
• Strong track record in pre-sales engineering in a similar industry and territory role.
• Knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/IPv6 routing, overlay networking, VPNs, Wi-Fi design and operation, and network security principles.
• Experience working with customer project teams, partners, technical training, major accounts, and deal closing.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of market trends and future technology directions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud technologies, cloud-based network management, virtualization, orchestration software, SD-WAN, automation scripting, and APIs.
• hirify.global or other recognized industry certifications.
• Hands-on lab experience.
