Network Engineer

Location: Hybrid position at Warner Robins AFB, Warner Robins, Georgia, United States

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, install, and integrate network services, equipment, devices, hardware, and software.
• Translate product and system strategies into network requirements, implementation specifications, verification procedures, and customer acceptance tests.
• Plan network equipment installation and participate in system conceptual design and technical documentation.
• Monitor system performance, perform tuning, and validate requirements through testing.
• Establish network development standards, practices, and procedures.
• Support customers and contribute technical input to business development activities.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance with the ability to attain TS/SCI is required.
• High school education with 10+ years of experience or equivalent experience.
• CCNP certification or higher.
• Experience designing, deploying, and optimizing classified networks.
• Experience with MP-BGPEVPN, VxLAN, Cisco routing and switching, network service chaining, SIP troubleshooting, Juniper SSR, and Cisco SD-WAN.
• Experience with Layer 2–Layer 7 routing and configuration and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or ESXi.

Nice to have

• Experience with Department of Defense communications, including NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks.
• DoD 8570.01-M IASAE II compliance, including CASP+ CE, CISSP, or CSSLP.
• Network security experience and knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, and application transport protocols.
• Experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices.
• Strong analytical, documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
