Budget Controller (AI)

What you will do

• Monitor spending against budgets, investigate discrepancies, and support reconciliations and closing cycles.
• Prepare cost-tracking reports, variance checks, and budget information for Finance Business Partners.
• Review, route, and track Purchase Requests while supporting budget availability, compliance, and purchase-to-pay workflows.
• Support finance-system users with access, troubleshooting, configurations, documentation, and testing of system changes.
• Assist FP&A and Controlling teams with budgeting, reporting, analysis, audit documentation, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of experience in budget controlling, accounting support, controlling support, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently within established processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of budgeting, invoices, Purchase Requests, cost tracking, and financial processes.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and comfort working with finance systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP, procurement, or Purchase Request/Purchase Order systems.
• Familiarity with Purchase Request and approval processes.
• Experience in an international or multi-entity environment.
• Basic accounting or finance education.
