Sr. Associate, Ag Inspector

Location: Remote from Nebraska; overnight travel for agricultural inspections may be required up to 50%.

Salary: $81,662–$134,741 base pay annually.

What you will do

• Plan, perform, and coordinate inspections of agricultural loan collateral, including livestock, feed, and receivables.
• Verify collateral on site and analyze accounting records to evaluate borrower and collateral risks.
• Prepare efficient collateral examination reports focused on critical credit-risk areas.
• Provide written and verbal subject-matter expertise to customers, lenders, management, and other stakeholders.
• Review operational practices, assess problematic situations, and recommend improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant agricultural lending industry issues, trends, policies, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, agricultural business, or a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of agricultural lending, collateral analysis, accounting concepts, agricultural practices, and related systems.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, collaborative, and diplomacy skills.
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays up to 50%.
• Must possess unrestricted United States work authorization and must not require future sponsorship.
