Customer Service Specialist (Insurance)

What you will do

• Set up new and renewal client records and review insurance applications.
• Bind new and renewal policies and issue policies as necessary.
• Follow up on missing file documentation, including loss runs and applications.
• Issue, invoice, and process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and non-renewals.
• Order loss control reports and follow up on compliance recommendations.
• Perform policy servicing tasks and comply with quality control guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Obtain a 2-20 license within 90 days of employment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong PC skills.
• Experience working in a paperless environment.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor and a strong commitment to customer service.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple tasks, work accurately, and collaborate effectively.
